This Forest Institute workshop provides a comprehensive discussion of EAB. Topics will include background, biology & spread, impacts, determining extent of infestations, quarantines, as well as a review of management tools, forest management considerations, and ash dynamics in aftermath forests.

Speakers will include Dr. Nathan W. Siegert, Forest Entomologist with the US Forest Service, Northeastern Area State & Private Forestry; nationally known for his work on EAB, from detection to forest management recommendations, Maine EAB expert, Colleen Teerling, Forest Entomologist with the Maine Forest Service, Gary Fish, State Horticulturist, Department of Agriculture, Conservation and Forestry, and Rachel Nyce, Acting Director, Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service-Plant Protection and Quarantine.

There are no fees for this workshop – but registration is required.
